About Course

The purpose of this Unit Standard is to enable learners to apply basic business principles to sell their services, manage payment processing and conduct business in an ethical, professional manner. The ability to deal with customers and their complaints is enhanced to further ensure the sustainability of the business

Course Content

Session 1: Sell Services

  • Business is conducted ethically  
  • Business is conducted professionally. 
  • Customer needs are accurately identified. 
  • Up to date service information is provided to potential customers.  
  • Customer requirements are accurately documented.

Session 2: Process Payments
Learning Outcomes  Bookkeeping principles are complied with.  Tax requirements are met Copies of transaction records are retained and filed.  Invoices and receipts are correctly issued. 

Session 3: Deal with customers
Learning Outcomes Customer complaints are addressed.  Follow up action plans are implemented.
